I. Navigation & Global Controls

Branch operates on a strict, deeply nested mathematical calendar (Annual → Month → Week → Day).

• Lateral Jumping: You do not always have to go "up" to go back "down." On the Daily and Weekly views, you can use the [ TODAY ] or [ WEEK ] buttons in the top left to instantly teleport to your current real-time coordinates.
• Absolute Return: Use [ ← RETURN TO ... ] to move exactly one level up in the hierarchy (e.g., from Day to Month, or Month to Annual) without getting lost in your routing history.

II. The Weekly View (Your Backlog)

The Weekly Dashboard is where you dump your tasks before scheduling them. It is isolated—tasks created in Week 13 cannot be accessed in Week 14.

• Initialize Lists: If a week is empty, click the massive INITIALIZE DEFAULT LISTS block to automatically generate "Work," "Reminders," and "Grocery" lists.
• Add Custom Lists: Use the input field at the bottom to create entirely new lists (e.g., "Project Delta").
• Manage Tasks: Click a list to expand it. Type a task into the bottom input and press Enter to add it. Click the row to check it off [ X ]. Click the isolated [ X ] on the far right to permanently delete the list or task.

III. The Daily View (Execution & Automation)

This is the core of the application. It consists of three main modules: Day Snapshots, Manual Tracking, and the Auto-Scheduler.

IV. The Monthly & Annual Views (The Macro)

• The Monthly Grid: Day Snapshots logged (Events, Deadlines) will physically render on their respective days with distinct symbols (○, !, □).
• The Progress Engine: The SUMMARY tab calculates the completion percentage of every task across every week belonging to that month.

V. Data & Privacy

Branch is a strictly offline application. Every task, schedule, and configuration you create is saved to your computer's local IndexedDB storage. It requires zero internet connection, and your data never touches a cloud server.

I. Navigation & Sidebar Controls

• Lateral Jumping: Access the four primary modules (START, VIEWS, LINKS, ABOUT) instantly from the sidebar.
• The XP Ticker: The taskbar at the bottom provides real-time "telemetry," including a greeting based on local time, session counts for today vs. yesterday, and your overall average focus rating.
• Quick-Access Start: The START button acts as a global "Return to Home" function, resetting your view to the desktop.

II. The Timer Engine (Execution & Setup)

• Setup Phase: Define your specific objective. Toggle between a Manual Stopwatch or a Timed Countdown. For timed sessions, choose between a "Sound Alert" (keep running) or "Auto-End" (force log).
• Active Monitoring: A high-contrast green HUD displays ELAPSED time. If a countdown is active, a red REMAINING timer appears. When minimized, processing continues in real-time within the taskbar tab.
• The Logging Loop: Rate focus using the 5-star incremental system. Use Go to Break to log the session and pivot to rest tracking, or Next Session to cycle back to a fresh setup.

III. The Media Player (Focus Environment)

• Local Ingestion: Use + Add MP3 to copy files from your hard drive into the application's local sandbox.
• Playlist Logic: The track title scrolls across a classic Winamp-style marquee. Manage tracks and permanent deletions via the dropdown.
• Scrubbing & Volumetrics: Utilize the precision sliders to seek through tracks or adjust output levels.

IV. Progress Tracking (The Macro View)

• Hierarchical Navigation: Navigate data via a tabbed property-page system (Daily → Weekly → Monthly).
• Summary Engine: Calculates count, total time, and average ratings for combined sessions and breaks.

V. Workspace Customization

• The Dynamic Background: Use the WALLPAPER button on the sidebar to ingest any local image; the app saves this path to persist across reboots.
• The Sidebar GIF: Upload a custom image or GIF to the bottom of the sidebar to serve as your personal study mascot.

VI. Data & Privacy

Strictly Local: OrgStudy is a zero-latency, offline-first application. All task data, session logs, and uploaded media are stored exclusively in your computer's local storage and the OrgStudy_Media home directory. Zero telemetry.

I. Navigation & Library Structure

• The Truth Header: Access core identification and the Secret Vault instantly. The Crest acts as the gateway to the Vault. Dynamic greeting shifts based on local time.
• Library Navigation: Journals displayed as a vertical stack for rapid movement between different volumes of your life.
• The Vertical Hierarchy: App follows a logical flow from Journal → Section → Entry, ensuring archive structure.

II. The Inscription Engine (Writing & Formatting)

• The Digital HUD: High-contrast paper-white workspace featuring a dedicated title header and an infinite-scroll writing area.
• Surgical Typography: Utilize +/- step-increments to scale text. Highlight words for individual sizing or adjust global cursor size. Toggle Bold, Italic, Underline, and Strikethrough.
• Alignment Logic: Set text to Left, Center, Right, or Justified to match the tone of your entry.

III. The Secret Vault (Secure Storage)

• PIN-Locked Access: Permanent, user-defined numerical PIN acts as the physical key to this hidden volume.
• Zero-Trace Entry: Vault journal is invisible to standard Library view; summoned by interacting with the Truth Crest and providing PIN.
• Session Isolation: Once Vault is opened, standard Library remains inaccessible until user returns to Home.

IV. Data Management & Persistence

• The Auto-Save Loop: App runs background "heartbeat" that secures work to local storage every 5 seconds.
• Volume Lifecycle: Inscribe new journals, rename volumes through modals, and use the Burn Protocol to permanently purge data. Deleted data is non-recoverable.
